“ … Here is another one. A change in what Human nature will allow for government. "Careful, Kryon, don't talk about politics. You'll get in trouble." I won't get in trouble. I'm going to tell you to watch for leadership that cares about you. "You mean politics is going to change?" It already has. It's beginning. Watch for it. You're going to see a total phase-out of old energy dictatorships eventually. The potential is that you're going to see that before 2013.

They're going to fall over, you know, because the energy of the population will not sustain an old energy leader ..."

Finance Ministry launches new whistle-blowing system

Esther Samboh, The Jakarta Post, Jakarta, Wed, 10/05/2011

The Finance Ministry, which is responsible for thousands of trillions rupiah in state funds, launched a new whistle-blowing system on Wednesday to aid the fight against corruption.

The system, called WISE, is open to the public, including ministry officials, to report any misdemeanors or unlawful actions by Finance Ministry officials through website www.wise.depkeu.go.id.

“Those who want to lodge a report have no need to worry. We will protect the identity of those making reports,” ministry inspector general Sonny Loho said at the launch of the new system at the Finance Ministry in Jakarta.

Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo said if reports proved to be true, consequences would vary from sanctions to investigation by law enforcers.

So far this year, the ministry has given disciplinary sanctions to 434 officials, compared with 890 officials throughout last year.

The Finance Ministry oversees 12 offices, including tax, customs and excise, debt management, capital market and financial institutions, treasury, budget, state assets, fiscal policy and fiscal balance.
