“ … Here is another one. A change in what Human nature will allow for government. "Careful, Kryon, don't talk about politics. You'll get in trouble." I won't get in trouble. I'm going to tell you to watch for leadership that cares about you. "You mean politics is going to change?" It already has. It's beginning. Watch for it. You're going to see a total phase-out of old energy dictatorships eventually. The potential is that you're going to see that before 2013.

They're going to fall over, you know, because the energy of the population will not sustain an old energy leader ..."

Thousands Provincial Tax Regulations Abolished

Friday, 12 December, 2008 | 20:25 WIB

TEMPO Interactive, Jakarta:The government has abolished thousands of provincial regulations and draft laws on tax and retribution because they conflict with public interests and other regulations.

"Autonomy is often misinterpreted as auto-money," said Finance Department's Financial Considerations director-general, Mardiasmo, in Jakarta yesterday.

According to Mardiasmo, until December 10, 2008, the government has received 11.401 provincial regulations and 2.150 draft laws for approval.

The departments of Home Affairs and Finance judged that about 2.554 regulations should be annulled, while 1.421 draft regulations should be reviewed or rejected.

The largest numbers of abolished regulations came from East Java, West Java, Central Java, North Sumatra and South Sulawesi.

Provincial Autonomy Implementation Supervisory Committee chief, Bambang P.S. Brodjonegoro, said the regulations were abolised because they could disrupt the investment climate and the economy. "The central government has the right to abolish them," he added, noting that their abolishment also mean they are being penalized.
