“ … Here is another one. A change in what Human nature will allow for government. "Careful, Kryon, don't talk about politics. You'll get in trouble." I won't get in trouble. I'm going to tell you to watch for leadership that cares about you. "You mean politics is going to change?" It already has. It's beginning. Watch for it. You're going to see a total phase-out of old energy dictatorships eventually. The potential is that you're going to see that before 2013.

They're going to fall over, you know, because the energy of the population will not sustain an old energy leader ..."

President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono says the judicial mafia eradication task force has received hundreds of tip-offs and reports of corruption involving the judicial mafia and tax-related crimes.

Speaking during a news conference prior to his departure for the Asean Summit in Vietnam, Yudhoyono said of the hundreds of reports, “10 percent can be followed up.”

“They are major judicial mafia cases, including Gayus Tambunan’s case,” he said, referring to the allegedly corrupt tax official who has drawn widespread condemnation for the wealth he was able to generate as a state official.

Yudhoyono said that five years ago he had warned the related institutions to prevent any tax-related crimes and he supported efforts to eliminate tax crimes.

“This is the right time to do a total clean up. I support the steps taken by the Finance Ministry to investigate and punish anyone who’s involved in this crime,” he said.

Yudhoyono, meanwhile, thanked the governors of Aceh and North Sumatra as well as the Disaster Management Agency for their swift reactions to the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that rattled northern parts of Sumatra island

He confirmed that the earthquake, which the US Geological Survey put at 7.7 magnitude but the he Climatology, Meteorology, and Geophysics Agency (BKMG) classified as 7.2, did not trigger a tsunami or inflict heavy damage.

“Soon after the quake occurred, I communicated with the head of Disaster Management Agency [BNPB] and the governors of Aceh and North Sumatra,” Yudhoyono said. “They reported minor damage, the situation was under control and the electricity had been restored.”

“I thanked the BNPB and the provincial governments of Aceh and North Sumatra for their swift responses to the earthquake,” he added.

He did not say what the quick responses were.
