Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesia`s foreign exchange reserves reached an unprecedented level of US$51.9 billion in the month ended on June 30, 2007, a central bank official said.
"The figure is the highest ever reached," Deputy Bank Indonesia Governor Aslim Tadjuddin said on the sidelines of the central bank`s 54th anniversary celebration here Monday.
Compared to the month ended on May 31, 2007, the figure represented an increase of US$1.79 billion.
