Vice President Boediono has warned all parties to beware of a possible second dip in the economy following the major correction in global markets in 2008.
“The tail of 2008 crisis remains. It’s not over yet, and there are times we feel the jolts,” Boediono said Sunday during his work visit to the MM2100 industrial complex in Bekasi, West Java. He was referring to the recent impact of economic troubles faced by Greece, which have affected global markets.
Boediono asked foreign investors to maintain their business interests in Indonesia.
“We must do our best to make sure investors feel at home here,” he said as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
