Deutsche Bank does not expect recession in much of SE Asia

Manila (ANTARA News/Asia Pulse) - Deutsche Bank (DB) on Wednesday said a recession can be foreseen for 2009 but not in the Philippines or in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand amid the continued spiraling down of the global economy.

In its Equity Research dated November 12, DB said that despite this projection it forecast these four Asian economies to suffer weaker exports, which in turn would result in slower economic growth.
