Jakarta (ANTARA News) - A Canadian business delegation will visit Balikpapan and Samarinda, East Kalimantan, on Nov 5-6 to expand and enhance bilateral trade relations between Canada and Indonesia.
"Canadian companies today are active in many different sectors in Indonesia and they are interested in opportunities in East Kalimantan province, which is one of Indonesia`s economic power houses," Canadian Ambassador to Indonesia John Holmes said in a press statement on Friday.
The delegation, to be led by Ambassador Holmes, will include embassy trade officials and several representatives of Canadian companies active in Indonesia in areas such as power generation equipment, airborne radar imagery/mapping, environmental service consulting, geomatic and engineering planning, telecommunications, engineering consulting services, fire fighting equipment for forestry and financial services.
