No special discussion on Indonesia at WB-IMF annual meeting

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - There will be no special discussion on Indonesia at the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (WB-IMF) annual meeting later this month, IMF`s chief representative for Indonesia, Steven Schwarts, said here on Saturday.

"There will be no special discussion on Indonesia but we are going to review the country`s latest economic conditions," Schwartz said, adding that the progress of reform in the two international donor institutions was on the meeting`s agenda.

In addition, he said the meeting would discuss the voting rights of member countries following complaints from developing countries about the dominant roles of the US and European Union in the World Bank.

Schwartz said at the annual World Bank and IMF meeting in Washington DC on October 20-22, Indonesia would be represented by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati.
